ABOUT

WHO PUT THE "MAMI" IN UMAMI?

MARKETING

The creative.

"Like many creatives, I find solace in my imagination. When an idea strikes, it consumes me in the best way. For fun, I've designed products that I personally use, ranging from furniture and interiors to clothing and artisan kitchenware, curating a custom lifestyle that brings me immense fulfillment. Professionally, I translate this creative energy  into cohesive sales proposals, distribution strategies, and brand development that I can both author and manage."

SALES

The Analytical.

"My approach to sales is as dynamic as my creative side. I prioritize logic and strategy, thriving on achieving sales growth that consistently delivers measurable value to customers. This balance between creativity and business-mindedness allows me to approach sales uniquely, blending marketing ideas with practical sales applications that drive results. Whether crafting a marketing campaign or negotiating a sales contract, my ability to tap into both sides of my experience has been instrumental in my success."

MY JOURNEY

HIGHLIGHTS

UAE

HORECA Food Service Sales

For someone who's not a Chef, I certainly spend a lot time in kitchens. Heres a small list of the restaurants Ive sampled and sold to in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I have excellent relationships with my customers and a reputation for being helpful.

Mexico

Freelance Marketing

I was born in Mexico and moved to the United States with my family when I was 4 years old. Returning to Mexico in my 30s after being away for so long was a fascinating experience, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. During my time in Mexico, I worked with a customs broker on import and export projects, where I focused on developing business intelligence and marketing strategies.

Spain + London

Freelance Marketing

During this period, I expanded my professional horizons by taking on a variety of projects beyond the food industry. I collaborated with Art Fabricators, where I gained valuable insights into the world of art production and installation, honing my skills in project management and creative problem-solving. My involvement with Tech Startups exposed me to the dynamic tech landscape, where I contributed to UX design . Additionally, my work with Wine Producers allowed me to delve into the intricacies of the wine industry, where I developed a deep appreciation for the art and science of winemaking, as well as the complexities of marketing and distribution in this field.

USA

FMCG + Military Contracting

The golden years! Looking back, my 10-year journey with a small conglomerate of food and beverage companies was truly invaluable. I immersed myself in every aspect of developing MFCG products, from conceptualization to formulation. Climbing each step of the corporate ladder, I gained extensive experience working in every department. One of the highlights was traveling across the country, visiting military bases, and eventually earning the trust to manage our government contracts. It was an incredible ride of growth and learning.
